We're working to give back and enhance the lives of people in our neighborhoods and communities, to support the children in our local schools and STEM programs, and to reach out to the less fortunate around the world. We're lending a helping hand to those that need a little extra help through our volunteer, community-giving, and Engineering Good initiatives. By teaming up with world-class partners and our employees, we're donating thousands of hours of service yearly and tens of thousands of dollars to local communities and to humanitarian organizations around the world.

Come join us in improving lives and unlocking energy.

Mentoring Young Women at STEM-Centered SheTech Event

We're reaching out to support STEM education by mentoring high school girls at an industry-centered career exploration day. At this day-long event, 9th to 12th-grade girls gain exposure to new technologies, meet mentors from the business industry, learn about careers in STEM fields, receive certifications, and gain access to internships and scholarships. This year, over 2000 high school girls from Utah interacted with female role models from the world of science, technology, engineering, and math in fun and engaging hands-on activities.

Improving the Health and Wellness of Our People

We're working to support the health and wellness of our people. We believe that our people are critical to the success of our business. We need healthy employees that are safe and fully engaged in the important work that we do.  We need them at their best; so one of our business segments, US Synthetic, opened an on-site healthcare clinic to support the happiness and health of our employees and their families. The goal of this clinic is to work with community partners in improving accessibility to quality healthcare for our employees and their families.

Ongoing Support of STEM Education

We're supporting education to encourage and inspire tomorrow's leaders. We focus our volunteer efforts and donations on programs with the potential for significant impact and that are consistent with our business interests and values. We have a history of supporting STEM education initiatives through our US Synthetic Engineering Good program. Our goal is to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Math through best practices in education to ensure connection with industry and long-term economic prosperity.
